STATUE
PICTURES 2
Leem
In Group 1, I featured
some pictures of statues I found inspiring. Now here are some statuesque
models.
LIVING STATUE 2
Look what I found! Clipped from
the front cover of that issue of Amateur Photographer, photo by Geoff Hughes.
I do have an unmutilated copy of the magazine somewhere…
POSE
Full view and detail. She’s
got the pose and the props. Now all she needs is a little photo-manipulation…from
the now-defunct Pic magazine, mid-'90s, model and photographer unknown.
BALINESE DANCER
This golden girl appeared in
a glamour photography book. Model and photographer unknown.
YOU COULD WIN £1 MILLION
To promote a TV game show, the
Sun (Murdoch’s London tabloid) painted one of its notorious "page three
girls" gold. Thursday March 4 1999. The slightly more discrete pose appeared
on the front cover the next day. Model Maria Sheriff.
PIRELLYZED!
Sorry, couldn’t resist the pun.
From an early ‘70s Pirelli Calender, artist and model unknown. Unauthorised
reproduction may result in tyre treads across the face.
GRAVE 1 & 2
Full views and figure details
from another defunct British Photo magazine, SLR Photography, January 1989.
Are these pale girls photographed in a Scottish cemetery meant to be statues?
Ghosts? Who knows! Hand-tinted black and white photos, models unknown,
photographer Trevor Yerbury.
…and that’s it! |
