Inspired by Kipling’s Jungle Books, among others, this site celebrates the tales of feral children - those fascinating creatures that are not quite human and yet not entirely animal.... THIS SITE INCLUDES SOME NUDITY. There is nothing obscene or pornographic about that [Adult Content Section specifically excepted]. It’s just that many feral children have never even heard of clothes (not even loincloths). If this bothers you please feel free to surf elsewhere.
How cool is being raised by wolves? Coolness Graphed has done the math(s). | RECENT ACTIVITY 3 APR 2023: The Kipling Society has changed its web address, which means I now have to go through every page and replace the old one with the new one. Thanks, guys(!) 11 MAY 2022: Fixed links to a few “lost” pieces of art. I’ve long been aware that having all these text links to art isn’t the best way to present them, and I’m hoping I can replace them with a thumbnail page sometime I’ve also had to change my method of updating pages. This initially caused an issue with many special characters not displaying correctly. I’ve now fixed as many as I can find, and I’ll try to keep on top of it. 27 APRIL 2021: I’ve now reorganised the Jungle Book Cover Art pages so there are 24 images per page as opposed to 12. The exact arrangement of images has been reshuffled to optimise the pages for wide screens, and to fix the composition so that the characters are always facing more or less toward the centre of each row. Pages may display weirdly on some devices, but give me time, I’m working on it. Relevant links hereunder have been revised accordingly. What would have been the BRAND NEW pages 23 and 24 are now Page 12. All clear?! 2 FEBRUARY 2021: I’m currently contemplating site updates, while trying to make sure all the links still work......

News of the Wild NEWS ITEMS ARE DIVIDED BY HORIZONTAL BARS. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR EARLIER ENTRIES. 18 September 2016: New cartoon I recently came across the feral boy cartoon Coyotes? and added it to the Even More Wildness page. 10 October 2015: Still Updating ...Even though there’s not been much to report on the news front for... three years?! Um... OK... 27 August 2012: The Mowgli Bas-reliefs I’ve mentioned them before, and they also have a page on Marc’s Jungle Book Wiki, but I’ve now added a page giving what I believe is the most complete overview of the Jungle Books-inspired bas-reliefs at Prospect Park Zoo, Brooklyn, New York. Please feel free to comment. 25 August 2012: Brave Thoughts Having now seen Brave, I’d just like to share my two pence worth on the film’s similarities, or lack of them, to Pyrénée (scroll down to 21 December 2011 item for comparison pic). First and foremost, of course, both characters have that unruly mop of wild hair, though of course no Disney film would ever dare to show an adolescent character naked. (There is a tiny bit of comic nudity in the film, but it’s all male.) Secondly, there is indeed a bear in the film - in fact two, one good and one evil, and the good one... let’s just say, plays a parental role for Mérida. Any other similarities are purely superficial, although it will still be interesting to see if Pyrénée’s creators ever make anything of the physical resemblance. 27 July 2012: More Jungle Book Cover Art I’ve now added a tenth page to the Cover Art Gallery, and this time it’s only taken three and a half months rather than four and a half years! This brings the grand total to 120 images, although strictly speaking, a few of them are not actually Jungle Book covers but publicity posters, comic book covers and related works... 10 July 2012: Russian Statue Some views of a sculpture of Mowgli and Bagheera in Priozersk, Russia. “Where on Earth is Priozersk?” I hear you ask. Well - let's just say it’s a long way from the jungle! (This page has been online as a beta for ages now, but at last I’m linking to it officially.) 14 March 2012: More Jungle Book Cover Art I’ve added a new Page 9 to the Jungle Book Cover Art Gallery. And it’s only taken me four and a half years since adding Page 8!!! 21 December 2011: Spot the Difference, or, Great Minds Think Alike? So, I just happened to be sitting in a cinema waiting for the film to start, when up popped a trailer for Pixar’s upcoming film Brave, which is a fantasy set in the Scottish highlands. It features a feisty young heroine with a round face, big round eyes and a gigantic mop of wavy red hair... ring any bells??? Yup! Mérida is pretty much a dead ringer for Pyrénée... if Pyrénée was a medieval Scottish princess instead of a French wild girl. I gather there’s even a bear that features prominently in the story. Now I wonder if the creators of Pyrénée will have anything to say about the apparent resemblance? We’ll see... 25 July 2011: Californian Mowgli lookalike Paula Zima’s fountain statue of a child and bear fishing, close to the 18th century misson house in San Luis Obispo, California, could easily be taken for Mowgli or Pyrénée, but it actually depicts a girl of the local Chumash people getting in touch with nature. Photos and information here. 18 January 2011: Happy New Year. Pyrénée pic updated, more updates soon(?) Somewhat belatedly (so what’s new? Not me, evidently) I’ve posted the final (at least, as far as I know) version of Richard Palmer’s picture Pyrénée Playing with Fireflies. I hope you like it. I think it’s one of his best. 13 September 2010: Kuroku Strikes Again The latest piece of Pyrénée artwork by Richard Palmer is a nicely atmosheric depiction of the French wild girl enchanted by fireflies on a moonlit night. Once again the full-size image is very big, so apologies to those of you living in the wilds of Mongolia or New Jersey who may not have broadband. 11 June 2010: Dawn of Time: rockin’ with the cavegirl Whether or not you call Michael Stearns’ webcomic heroine Dawn of Time a feral child depends on your point of view, but to my mind she’s certainly wild enough to qualify. Besides, her adventures with dinosaurs, stranded time travellers and doomed lungfish are a lot of fun, so who’s arguing? I’ve added a permanent link to the strip on the Even More Wildness page. Well, I’m bloggered! A few months ago the Planet Bareass blog devoted a couple of pages to depictions of Mowgli (and a few of Tarzan) in order to make a few pithy comments on the way their nudity is depicted - or not as the case may be. The author admits not having read The Jungle Books, but he obviously likes the pictures - many of which he “borrowed” from my site and sites that I link to without attribution! Lucky I’m not one to make a big deal out of it. You can read the relevant pages (caution: NSFW) here and here. 4 October 2009: Mowgli images by Walbridge and Rubiños Barry Blair’s cohort Colin Walbridge (aka Chan) has drawn Mowgli in a somewhat more juvenile style than usual, wearing a loincloth and swinging on a vine. Meanwhile Argentinian artist Nadina Rubiños includes three excellent pictures of Mowgli in scenes from Mowgli’s Brothers and Kaa’s Hunting on her blog. As far as I can tell they haven’t been published elsewhere. 15 July 2009: Blair which Mowgli? Barry Blair and Colin Chan’s latest piece of Jungle Book artwork is an odd hybrid of Disney and Kipling in which Kaa is hypnotising a naked Mowgli. Does Kaa want to eat him? If not, what could he want?! More Blair & Chan Mowgli Link fixes and updates: I’ve fixed numerous broken links from the front page, and I’ve added numerous new links to images, including several based on an extensive search of Deviantart and a couple suggested by Marc. 11 April 2009: The return of Kuroku Richard Palmer’s latest picture based on the French graphic novel Pyrénée depicts the eponymous feral girl and her tutor the blind eagle having a spot of lunch in their cave behind a waterfall. Another big illo, so if you don’t have broadband you might want to download it overnight. 1 November 2008: Czech Mowgli Once again Marc has discovered an interesting Mowgli illustration, this time by Czech artst Petr Minka. In this scene from Tiger! Tiger! Mowgli looks incrediby smug and self-confident as he sits on the defeated tiger’s skin, dressed in nothing but his own. 1 October 2008: Bishonen Mowgli Thanks to Marc for discovering this image on a Korean blog [here’s a Google-translated version], depicting a very bishonen blue-eyed animesque Mowgli with a white wolf that might almost be Kiba from Wolf’s Rain. But where did Mowgli get the tatoo from? 7 September 2008: Another Pyrénée pic (In case you hadn’t seen it yet) Sorry about the lack of recent updates... Anyway, I posted this new Pyrénée picture by Richard Palmer several months ago but neglected to put up a News post for it. Sorry about that, chief. If you haven’t seen this already there’s really no excuse now. Deviancy run riot Also, I’ve found so many great pictures on Deviantart recently that I’ve had to give them their own section. Some of my favourites include ~J-e-J-e, loosely based on the Japanese Shonen Mowgli series... ...and ~kookybird, who continues to produce some terrific Jungle Book artwork. While you're there, you might also want to check out her funny but slightly disturbing take on Red Riding Hood... 22 January 2008: Still more ~kooky Deviancy Deviantartist ~kookybird comes through once again with a very nicely drawn 5-panel comic page showing Mowgli and a wolf hunting a deer. More, please. 5 December 2007: Mowgli’s on a plane??? Here’s a picture of a Boeing 737 owned by the Ukrainian airline MAU. The plane’s called “Маугли” (Maugli - Russian and Ukrainian for Mowgli). The name is obviously suggested by the airline’s initials, and on the nose there’s a small stylised sketch of our favourite man-cub swinging on a vine. Long may it fly! 3 December 2007: The Deviancy continues Here’s yet another Deviantart find in the form of a very casually naked teenage Mowgli by kookybird. 9 November 2007: Good Evans Found a few more images of Rudulph Evans’ Boy and Panther in Brookgreen Gardens South Carolina, bringing the total to six: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 6 November 2007: More Deviantart Meowglee by yuni: Another Deviantart find. “LOL! I just wanted to draw that jungle dork, and give him the length of the hair he is actually supposed to have if he never trimmed it.” In connection with hair length I referred yuni to the news story about James Marshall. Pyrénée Chibi Apologies for not mentioning this earlier, but Richard Palmer’s Pyrénée Fanart page now includes two new “Chibi Pyrénée” images rendered in Photoshop. If you thought she was cute before you won’t believe these! BTW, Wikipedia has now reinstated its previously-deleted Pyrénée article, although there’s no telling whether it will be deleted again. 5 August 2007: Art Find The Jungle Books by the tomatohead2 on Deviantart. Click there for big version. 14 June 2007: More Jungle Book Cover Art I’ve added a new page to the Jungle Book Cover Art Gallery, bringing the total to eight, but that’s not all - I’ve also replaced most of the images with bigger and better versions. Enjoy. 17 May 2007: Mowgli is stoned The latest batch of art finds are all bas-relief sculptures. First of all, Marc found “Boy and Bear” by Ruth Sherwood in concrete (see plaque). It’s at the Polasek museum in Florida. Further north, there are several Jungle Book reliefs at Prospect Park Zoo, Brooklyn, NY: here, here, here, here, here, here and here. See how many you can match up to the appropriate stories. 31 March 2007: More art finds Here are a couple more pieces I found on the web. First, a stylised and fairly serene Mowgli wearing a sarong by Giovanni Da Re; and then in complete contrast, A wild-eyed feral Mowgli wearing a scrap of cloth by Alex Alvarado (Corspufo). [Note: I see that Marc already has a listing for the Corspufo picture, but I seem to have missed it hitherto...] 29 March 2007: New art finds I’ve just come across three very nice Jungle Book illustrations by (if I've transliterated his name correctly) Vladimir Emelianov. Check them out: Mowgli and Hathi | Mowgli and Kaa Mowgli and Bagheera 17 February 2007: New Wild at Heart Group!!! Because I was fed up with all the spam at the Akela’s Place Yahoo! Group, I have now started the New Wild at Heart Yahoo! Group as a place where members can post whatever they like as long as it doesn’t frighten the horses, and where I can be moderator and zap spam properly. I hope you’ll join me there. February 2007: How Fear Came to Video Thanks to “Someone” for alerting me to this Mexican Scout troupe video, “El Origen del Miedo”, (12m 40s in duration), based on Kipling’s How Fear Came. It’s in Spanish of course, but if you’re familiar with the story you’ll have some idea of what everyone’s saying. Some of the animals are played by child actors in animal costumes, while others are rendered in CG, and the effect is a bit jarring at first. Also, all of the flashback scenes (which make up the bulk of the story) are in sepia with fake film scratches. But whatever its technical quirks, the important thing is that all the kids are totally into it and their enthusiasm shows. Give it a look. More art finds January 2: Happy New Year. Thanks once again to Marc, I’ve managed to obtain another piece of Jungle Book artwork from eBay. This time it’s a small print by Anselmo Bucci, illustrating a scene from Kaa’s Hunting. Marc also found a picture by André Le Moigne depicting an older Mowgli and a wolf watching a girl who’s preparing to bathe. This could be seen an ‘adult’ version of the scene in the Disney film where Mowgli meets the girl carrying water, or it may be inspired by a brief scene in The Spring Running where Mowgli sees a girl in a white dress. Either way, it has male and female nudity - something for everyone.... Unintentional research: Some British newspapers have carried a story about James Marshall, who developed a phobia of haircuts at the age of two and refused to have a haircut until he was twelve. The significance for this particular site is that Mowgli is lost in the jungle as a toddler and doesn’t return to humanity until he is about twelve, during which time he doesn’t get his hair cut either. so, just how long can a boy’s hair get if it isn’t cut for ten years? Well, in James’s case, an astonishing 27 inches or 69 cm. Kipling describes Mowgli’s hair as long, but most artists don’t draw it quite that long. Artist: Unknown; Owner: Me! October 31: While searching for items of interest on a little site you may have heard of called eBay, I came across a small watercolour depicting Mowgli, Bagheera and Kaa. Well, to my amazement I won the auction and I am now the proud owner of an original piece of Jungle Book artwork. If ever again I forget why I love the internet, this will remind me. Who is Misha Rosnach? October 24: While doing a random search for interesting material, I came across a set of 6 Jungle Book sketches by Misha Rosnach. That’s all the information that’s on the site - NO contact details or autobiography. Anyway, I’m including links to three of the sketches here. The rest will only be listed in the Adult Section on the grounds of graphic nudity and/or violence. Mowgli and Akela subdue Buldeo Shere Khan in the ravine | Kaa Updates: October 14: After a long period of inactivity I’ve begun updating the site. Some of the links from this News section, which you might have missed if you didn’t scroll down, have now been added to the front page, and I’ve restored a couple of missing image links. I’ve also reorganised the Pyrénée pages. I’ve moved some pencil sketches to Page One and added lots of new poster and bookplate artwork to Page Two. I’ve also replaced a couple of the existing pictures with better versions. Stay tuned for further developments. Server issues redux: October 12: Now that the problems with my web service have apparently been resolved I’ve decided to move all the links back to the old server. Apologies for any inconvenience. All of the pages on the alternative server will stay up but will link back to the original one. Confused? I certainly am. Clip this: October 12: Clipart Etc. has 20 illustrations from Kipling Stories and Poems Every Child Should Know (New York: Doubleday, Page and Company, 1915), avaialable in three sizes in gif format, as well as large-size uncompressed tiffs suitable for printing. I’ve added the relevant page links to the ART links on this page. Shalom: October 12: An Israeli site is linking to the Jungle Book pages on this site. It's always nice to have a link (even though they've awkwardly stretched the logo to fit), but what’s the context? I have no idea. Babelfish doesn’t translate Hebrew. Anyone? Welcome to the new Server: July 19: If you’re reading this is means my latest site migration has gone off smoothly. To accompany this move I’ve added a new Pyrénée fan art section, featuring work by the incomparable Richard “Kuroku” Palmer. I’m also giving serious thought to opening a new Yahoo Group because the old ones are getting spammed. Watch here for developments. Server issues: July 10: Because of a dispute with my paid webspace provider I’ve currently assigned the http://www.p-synd.com/wild/ address to automatically redirect to http://wildatheart94.tripod.com/ . This shouldn’t cause any problems for visitors, but the Tripod site is now completely full which means that unless the dispute is resolved I’m going to have to open an annex to the site on another free account. Much as I hate pop-up ads, it looks like it may be the only way to go. Stay tuned for further details. Pyrénée gets a blog entry July 10: I’ve just come across this blog entry by ‘Ivan the Terrible’ about the Pyrénée graphic novel. The author seems to take a satirical view of Pyrénée’s nudity, which he justifies by claiming that even Mowgli wore a loincloth. Well, not wishing to pour cold water on your argument, Ivan, or should I call you Mr. The Terrible? In Kipling’s original stories, Mowgli was usually naked too. Admittedly, the Jungle is a bit warmer than the mountains, but Pyrénée does have the bear to keep her warm. And that’s most decidedly all he does! Python boy in new photocall June 5: Oeun Sambath, the Cambodian boy who lives with a python (as previously reported on this site’s Even More Wildness page, now updated) was recently in the news again, apparently not for any special reason but just because the two of them have had another photo session. Naturally I wish them both a long and prosperous friendship. Blaine goes wild May 16: According to newspaper reports, David Blaine, the famous... er... whatever it is he’s famous for... is planning to go and live in harmony with wild animals. I personally think holding his breath underwater has affected his brain. The other Mr. Blair May 11: Once again the ubiquitous Marc has found a new eBay Jungle Book image by Elflord artists Barry Blair and Colin Chan, depicting Mowgli waiting for his prey with an unfeasibly big knife. According to the caption his butt belongs to sanmania. I don’t know exactly how Marc obtained the link, because every time I tried it I got a notice from eBay saying that “adult” (i.e. innocently[?] nude) content wasn’t available outside the US. (UPDATE: Marc has now told me how he did it. It’s so easy when you know how!) Not quite Mowgli, but... ...I’ve recently discovered these two paintings by John Macallan Swan (1847 - 1910), featuring boys who have a distinctly feral look about them: Orpheus (535k) | Boy Piping to the Fishes More Mowgli art May 1: Thanks once again to Marc for finding two more terrific Jungle Book pictures: Mowgli at the village Mowgli drinking at a stream Cel, cel, cel March 22: Here are a couple of Japanese auction sites I found, mostly selling animation cels from the Jungle Book: Shonen Mowgli anime series. There are quite a lot of head and shoulders shots of Mowgli (or as I sometimes call him, Animowgli) displaying a wide variety of facial expressions. Of course, because they’re auction sites the items on sale are subject to change over time, so it’s worth constantly checking back. Link 1 | Link 2 Tribute in bronze February 15: The ever-vigilant Marc has spotted another interesting link: A bronze by Vanessa Marston of Kipling with Bagheera and a monkey. Only thing is, Kipling looks a bit strange without his glasses. Pyrénée fanart Over at Fanart Central there are a couple of recent pieces (caution: tasteful nudity) based on Pyrénée, the French comic book wild girl. There’s a drawing by Kuroku8 (Richard Palmer), who’s drawn lots of Pyrénée pics, but mostly in Microsoft Paint rather than freehand and also drew the Anime Jungle Book fanart on this site. There is also a piece by someone calling themself (sic) Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas, based on an original bookplate which you can find on this page. Cartoon demystification February 10: It seems I was barking up the wrong tree (no pun intended?) about this cartoon. Apparently the guy encountering Mowgli is actually Dracula (I should have spotted the fangs), and Mowgli is saying “We be of one blood, ye and I”. One of the comments beneath the cartoon asks “Who bit who?” Good question! Cover Art gallery expanded February 2: new Page 7 added to the Jungle Book Cover Art gallery. Adding the new page entailed revising the navigation on the existing pages, and I took the opportunity to fix a couple of code errors that were messing up some of the spacing. More cartoons... Marc has sent me another cartoon link: Mowgli meets the Wolfman. Only trouble is, it’s in Russian. Can anyone translate the speech balloon?! Disney fans should check out this link I found to a Japanese manga version of Jungle Book 2. Not surprisingly, I can’t read that either! Thanks to Culturedropout for giving Wild at Heart a link on his blog, alongside such other useful links as Printable Thread Gauges and Other Tools for Identifying Nuts, Bolts, and Screws. Scroll on by: Thanks to a nifty bit of code, courtesy .net [Dot Net] Magazine I’ve been able to add scrolling to this box, so I can fit in as much news as I need without disrupting the surrounding links. It works a bit like a small frame, only better. Cool. I’ve also altered the background colours slightly. New year site reorganisation: You’ll have noticed by now that I have moved all of the internal and external links to the top of the left hand column and removed the big buttons from the page. This means visitors can immediately see where to go, but it does unfortunately tend to make the page text-heavy. In the next redesign I’ll probably add some smaller buttons. I also need to figure out a better colour scheme for the portal. Anyway, fwiw, here it is. Jungle all the way: Thanks again to Marc for sending me the link to this cartoon. Thanks also to Panther-Baghira who sent me the address of his site dedicated to the Anime Shonen Mowgli. The site is in German, which unfortunately I don’t speak, but it has lots of images from the series as well as fan art, and has a Forum page in English. Speaking of Shonen Mowgli, don’t forget to check out Richard “Kuroku” Palmer’s fanart. Kuroku achieves impressive results using MS Paint, which is a very basic art program with no layers or fancy effects. Also, be sure to check out a couple of new links to artwork inspired by The Jungle Book: Mowgli and the Tiger by Ken Rosenberg and Jungle Book play poster art by David Hohn. Thanks to Marc for finding the Hohn picture. Any queries, please contact me at ketrin1407 [a] yahoo [d] com. Replies will be signed “Lee Morrison”. The art is a little sketchy, but it has a raw energy that I find appealing. A brief word of warning, however: one or two of the pictures show apparently juvenile characters embracing while clearly (though not explicitly) nude, so don’t go there if you think that’s too much. ADULT STORY: KETRIN by Leem KETRIN SERIES INDEX An ongoing adventure story with erotic elements. Ketrin is like a bisexual, 18-year-old Mowgli, raised by semi-intelligent lupinoids but sent back to learn about humanity. The evil chief hunter Borvinn wants to paralyse Ketrin with a spell and use him as a living sex doll. Things don’t go quite the way Borvinn plans, but another group of villagers soon find themselves with a new god to worship.... NOTE: Links now point to the Ketrin’s World sub-site. If you’ve visited the Ketrin pages before you’ll notice different fonts, colours and backgrounds, but the chief object of the exercise is to get all of Ketrin’s readers in the same place. ACCOMPANYING ARTICLE KIPLING AND KETRIN AND MOWGLI AND ME A background article to the Ketrin series ADULT FICTION BY OTHERS MAN GOES TO MAN by Grond Based on Kipling’s “In the Rukh” and Tanith Lee’s short story “Foreign Skins”. [Note: Tanith Lee’s website is now spammed out, so I’ve changed the link to her Wikipedia article.] In case the title doesn’t make it obvious, it’s about a gay encounter between the grown-up Mowgli and an Englishman. I’d give this an R-rating rather than X - it’s very well-written, and the sex is discreetly handled and actually rather sweet. SANJI by cyberpunk92708 The story of a naked and sexy young woman, raised by apes and seduced by a python. There’s no on-stage zoophilia, but the implication is there, so if you’re likely to be offended steer clear. SERPENTS, STATUES AND SORCERY: A TALE OF MOWGLI’S JUNGLE by Sebastien (XXX) BROKEN LINK FIXED. Inspired (if that’s the word) by Kipling’s “The King’s Ankus”, this story tells what might have happened if Mowgli stayed in the jungle until he was 18 and become Kaa’s lover, and then after encountering the white cobra had fallen victim to an erotic curse which might hold him fast (and hard!) forever. THIS STORY DOES CONTAIN EXPLIXIT ZOOPHILIA, SO BE WARNED!!! | ADULT ART “MOWGLI” PHOTOS BY MANFRED HOFFMAN ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR | FIVE Artistic black and white hotos of a nude youth, mostly in a forest, although a couple of them are in an urban environment. Not strictly erotic, but listed as Adult because they’re of a real model and not just painted. The caption on the photos’ original site (now deleted) read “If Mowgli today to humans would come...” THERE’S SOMETHING DEEP INSIDE OF ME BY RUNE OLSEN: SCULPTURE PHOTOSHOP COLLAGE Thanks to Marc for finding this one. The caption pretty much says it all: “This sculpture explore the myth of being raised by wolfs, like Mowgli or Rome’s founders Romulus and Remus. Questioning what consciousness and sexuality is, would there be a moment when the boy becomes conscious of himself and his sexuality, where his wolf mother’s licking and grooming suddenly becomes questionably erotic/perverse?” The photo-collage version, if anything, throws the question into sharper focus. A SOMEWHAT VOYEURISTIC TEENAGE MOWGLI BY ANDRÉ LE MOIGNE THREE EXTREMELY NUDE SKETCHES OF MOWGLI BY MISHA ROSNACH: MOWGLI ATTACKING SHERE KHAN MOWGLI WRESTLING WITH KAA MOWGLI FIGHTING THE DHOLE (NUDITY AND VIOLENCE!) ULTIMATE STARE-DOWN BY YUNI Nude Mowgli wrestling with Kaa. Not exactly explicit, but incredibly suggestive, especially when you read Yuni’s caption. Sebastien (see left) tells me it’s one of his all-time favourite pictures. Do not forget to click for the big version! JIM AND MOWGLI BY YUNI Depicting a boy’s gay fantasy about encountering the hero of his favourite (and only) book. Nothing explicit, but both participants are a little young, so don’t say I didn’t warn you. There’s variation of this image involving waist constriction, which is a fetish I’ve never personally subscribed to, so... MOWGLI BY SAND-TIGER ON Deviantart Another nude Mowgli with a very big Kaa! Don’t tell me that’s not erotic! MOWGLI AND BAGHEERA BY ASYMPTOTIC AARDVARK ON Deviantart Nude Mowgli reclining languidly beside Bagheera. Again, not openly erotic, but equally suggestive. MOWGLI AND BAGHEERA SKETCH THE JUNGLE BOOK Two from NixTiredBrain on Deviantart, diverted here from the main list due to frontal nudity, but no sex. SUVANJI BY DARKSHADOWARTWORKS A big, sexy nude picture of the female wild girl from Ketrin. (It wasn’t done consciously, but I must adnit to a certain similarity to the name “Sanji”, although really the two characters aren’t that similar, apart from being female, wild and naked.) This is an art commission from DarkShadowArtworks on Deviantart - please contact the artist if you want to fave the picture. WILD GIRL BY PHILIPPE STERNIS Three red chalk nudes of a feral girl who could almost(?) be a grown-up version of Pyrénée, by the same artist (see also below). I found them ages ago, but I only recently stumbled across the big version of the third one. Unfortunately I haven’t yet found bigeer versions of the other two. BRANCH | SPIRE | OVERLOOK ADULT PYRÉNÉE BY PHILIPPE STERNIS Just what it says. A red pencil drawing of the grown-up Pyrénée observing a frog (“Mowgli”???) COMMISSION: MOWGLI AND BAGHEERA BY WARLOCKMASTER Another Deviantart image that didn’t make the main list due to anatomical correctness. I don’t know who the art was commissioned by, mind you, but there’s a definite influence of the Shonen Mowgli series. MOWGLI BY zdrava Also from Deviantart. Placed in this section because of frontal nudity. JUNGLE BOY BY MYSTICALDREAMDESIGN.COM The jungle setting here is basically just an excuse for a CG image of a hot nude guy, and why not? The original, like so many others, has gone AWOL from the internet at large, but survives here in the form of a waifu2x’d upscale...
