Scene A1 - High Alpine Valley
- Players at start of scene
- They appear strewn like tenpins in a high, deserted, Alpine valley
- The ship is totally destroyed, equipment scattered
- True to form, Lepton wakes up first and rouses the others
- Any casualties here are redshirts, or even nameless dead
- Flexia spots the cave in a hillside
- Remainder of group picks up what little eqpt remains
- Payne begins to show her 'bossy' side
- Rogers, Regina remark 'what a cool intro'
- Tiffany is scared, but doesn't understand it's going to get a lot more intense

Scene A2 - Freezing Vapors
- Players at start of scene
- Sunset falls, and a cold wind blows, fog-like vapors approaching fast
- Group is chilly, moves to cave seen in a hill
- Redshirt goes back, possibly under urging from Payne
- He gets caught and freezes instantly, with icicles and and all
- Others not so keen on this, esp the dilettantes
- Appearance of Guide raises spirits of group
- She knows the world, caves, some of the traps
- She offers to help because she hates Xog
- No one (?) is suspicious she turns up so quickly [note, could put this meeting after the Frieze instead...]
- Too cold to venture out, is a isolated valley anyway
- Set out into the caverns to find other group

Scene A3 - Frieze Wall
- Players at start of scene
- Group encounters a tight spot in the caves. The walls on either side are a reddish clay with several life-sized figures sculpted into it in bas-relief. They seem to be piled on top of each other so only a few complete statues are seen.
- Experienced gamers are suspicious;
- Tiffany is curious
- She touches the wall and gets some of the clay on her finger. It begins to feel numb.
- She tries to pull it away and cannot, cries for help
- Group tries to extract her, Rogers gets very close
- Suddenly Tiff is freed, but someone bumps an RS into the opposite wall; she too *sticks* there as if glued
- More of RS's body is in contact than Tiffany. Players try to extract her but succeed only in tearing her uniform apart, exposing her undergarments.
- Clay seems to be spreading, drawing RS into the wall. Her exposed skin starts to take on the color of the wall
- Her cries fade as the clay covers more of her body; she struggles but seems to be solidifying in place
- When the clay covers her face the transformation is complete and the wall has a new figure. Parts of her body, including an exposed breast, are visible, the remainder is smoothed over by a layer of clay.
- Others shrink away; Tiffany feels it is "her fault", is reassured that this is all part of the game. RS was not 'real' anyway they say...

Scene A4 - Stepping Disk Trap
- Players at start of scene
- Time passes and the corridors widen out somewhat
- Group starts to joke and tell 'war stories'
- Deimoa is in the lead, trying to sweeten up Rogers (who is married in RL)
- She walks around a bend, not watching what she is doing
- Bumps into a paralyzed/motionless NPC standing at the start of a wider section
- She screams, twists away and gets about two steps before she is pinned in a blinding light which leaves her immobile just like the other
- Farther into the long side-chanber there are two or three other motionless figures. Some have quite a lot of dust on them
- Kla'Tre pipes up and says she knows of this peril:
- The labyrinth guarding the 'Mirror of Xodom' (anyone who looks in it is turned to salt)
- There is a single pathway into the chamber holding the mirror. It must be traversed correctly, else they are paralyzed at the first misstep.
- Once someone makes it across, the recently paralyzed players are released. Otherwise they become permanent "like those poor souls"
- Floor is a grid of hexagonal tiles, stretching 50 feet or so (too far to jump) No way to rig a rope ladder/bridge either.
- She declares it must be solved, but is unwilling to suggest a way or tell if the Mirror will be needed later in the adventure
- Payne declares she knows how to solve it, proceeds to hopskotch (after telling folks not to laugh) She gets about 20 feet and is zapped stiff.
- Lepton is oddly silent, other than asking the others to wait.
- He knows it must be something they can solve.
- Finally hits upon the idea of changing the light; first darkness, then the goggles on his helmet, which a polarized and reveal a slightly different sheen to some of the tiles. There is a path, but it is not continuous, towards the end is a gap of six feet or so.
- He says dexterity is not his strong suit, hopes for other volunteers.
- Flexia comes forth, Lepton tries to discourage her (not to strongly tho)
- She takes the goggles (which look odd on her) and begins to traverse the maze. Carefully
- Flexia gets to the jump, sees the target tile is all alone before another shorter hop, so she cannot afford to miss.
- Makes a very balletic leap, lands and does a little piroette. She made it!
- Two more hops the other side are anticlimactic. As soon as she reaches it, the blinding light flares again, and...
- Payne and Deimoa become reanimated, the latter is now embarrassed too. However, the others do not unfreeze, remain stuck.
- Once traversed, the trap is deactivated and so the others stroll across without any special effort. The Mirror Awaits!

Scene A5 - Mirror of Xodom
- Players at start of scene
- Pretty standard adventure fare here, use the 2nd-mirror trick a'la Perseus
- Lepton does the deed, wrapping it in a few layers of cloth. It's heavy.
- Upon exit the trap is still deactivated.
- Kla'Tre mentions there is a transport station not far that should help get them farther along.
- Seems to pat, but the group trusts her

Scene A6 - Walk to SFH Station
- Players at start of scene
- The caves can still be treacherous, but don't have a good peril here (yet)
- Maybe take the time to let Kla'Tre gab about her plight, gripe about Xog etc.
- Arrive at station, only to find Groot and others there, minus a couple of RS's
- Players lost (none)

Scene A7 - Xog Toys With His Victims

- NPCs introduced
- Start with a teaser showing Xog, Xing, and Xort gloating together (lots of humor)
- How they will "take care" of the invaders..
- Xort will demonstrate some new weapons of his including the Medusatron...
- Subway station per description elsewhere, ditto the vehicle cars and track
- They spend some time discussing how to divide up, then
- Noises in the caves signal someone is coming
- Kla'Tre hurries them along, while calling for a train to come.
- Cut to follow Xing as installs the Medusatron on his mini-landstrider and goes after the heroes,
- who are now frantically trying to pile into the subway cars.
- It's a good time to show many of the expendable Redshirts getting zapped and
- becoming all sorts of different substances as Xing experiments with the device, with
- narrow escapes for our heroes as
- they dart and dash among the landstrider legs trying to avoid the beams.
- The attack forces the players to pile into the cars with little forethought:
- Lepton, Groot (to confer about plans enroute)
- Flexia, Cody
- Payne, Rogers
- Tiffany, Kla'Tre
- Athena, RS5 (who is acting scared)

Scene A8 - Subway From Hell (1)

- Everyone is a bit shaken by the unexpected attack, mixed with wonder at the nifty train and views
- The train starts out normally, and picks up speed, but when it gets to a transfer point, all hell breaks loose:
- Bubble-cars split off and go their separate ways, reforming seemingly at random.
- Four separate, different, groups are formed for the next level in the adventure:
